 Puppy Reacts to Girl’s Crying

INTERESTING DOG THING, they’ve actually done studies to test the ability of a dog’s empathy and if they only react to their owners grief or if they’re capable of empathizing with some one they never met.and so they had an owner with their dog and a stranger come in , and the stranger would make crying sounds and recognizable distress movements. and EVERY TIME, the cuite little doggies left the safety of their owners side to go and try and cheer up this  crying stranger :W:Dogs really do love EV ERYONE

Mystery of Death Valley’s Sliding Rocks Solved

Now, for the first time ever, researchers have observed the sliding rocks in action. Finally! Under just the right conditions, thin sheets of ice blown by light winds push the rocks across the dry lake. The work, which turned out not to be “the most boring experiment ever,” was published in PLoS ONE this week.

i always end up thinking about the economic damage in superhero movies

make a movie.

the movie would be set entirely in the office of one over-worked insurance agent answering phone calls and in the window behind him we see various Super Heroes destroying things

The Pennsylvania Corn Spider a.k.a. Yellow Garden Spider a.k.a 'Writing Spider' (Argiope aurantia) is one of the largest and flashiest of spiders commonly found in Pennsylvania. Corn spiders are native to the North American continent, but have been found as ar south as Central America and can even be found in Hawaii.
Besides their distinct yellow and black coloration, this spider gained the moniker ‘writing spider’ for its unique web patterns: a circular shape up to 60 cm in diameter, with a dense zigzag of silk, known as a stabilimentum, in the center. The purpose of the stabilimentum is disputed. It is possible that it acts as camouflage for the spider lurking in the web’s center, but it may also attract insect prey, or even warn birds of the presence of the otherwise difficult-to-see web. Only those spiders that are active during the day construct stabilimenta in their webs.
Like other members of Argiope they are considered harmless to humans.

The mummified heart is said to be that of vampire Auguste Delagrance, responsible for the deaths of more than forty people back in the 1900, a period of vampirism in the USA. When he was identified, Delagrance was hunted down by a Romano Catholic priest and a Voodoo Hougan, and was destroyed in 1912. (x)
